Contractor Position Description: Serves as a computer technology expert for Credit Card Issuing and Payment applications to assist internal business lines and external clients with development and ongoing support with a primary focus on the Credit Card Collections business area and utilizing the systems that support the needs of the Credit Card Collections business line. Plans, manages, elicits and documents business and system requirements for large application development projects. Acts as a liaison between technology and the business line. Compiles and analyzes information which is very detailed and often interpretive, and based on the findings, make project release recommendations. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation and implementation in accordance with client needs. Preferred Skills/Experience: - 5 or more years of experience in business analysis for computer technology applications. - Ability to elicit requirements and conduct an analysis of business needs, including leading meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line and technology leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations - Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology (PLM) and testing methodology/procedures - Ability to review test plans and test cases as well as research and resolve test issues - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and flowcharting using Microsoft Visio - Experience with Business Process Modeling preferred - Strong technical aptitude required; experience with large mainframe systems preferred - Experience with documenting use cases, wire frames, screen design, user interfaces, and user experience preferred - Experience with data mapping - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Leadership and negotiation skills - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Experience with Pega Rules Processor Commander (PRPC) beneficial, however training will be provided.
